植月大輔｜Daisuke Uetsuki

木工家植月大輔の『無言』を開催します。2017年921GALLERYにて初個展を開催し今まで幾たびと展示を重ねてきました。言葉数の少ない彼はこの混沌とした時代に何を映し出そうとしているのか。
膨大な言語を経て小さな子供の片足や随分長い時間が経ったような椅子に込める眼差しは、どこか空虚感を感じると同時に見るものに優しく寄り添いながら人間の生の実態を問いかけてくるようだ。
植月の生み出すものはどうすることもできない現代社会を見つめ、そこにアーティストとして作品に想いを託したのであろう。
