長野県安曇野に工房を構える吉田佳道さんの竹工藝品は、
自ら3mmほどの細いひごを編み込んでいき、凛としてどこか温かさを感じさせる作品です。
長い日本の歴史の中で、竹は木や石、土と同じく身近な素材でありながら、
人の手によってつくられる巧みな技術によって実用性と美しさを兼ね備えています。
＊中に落としが付いていますのでそのまま水を入れて生けていただけます。

こちらの作品は松煙と漆によって黒く染めています。陰影をお楽しみください。
