大したものをつくりたいとは思わないという小倉さん。余計なことは考えずあるがままを見つめ、当たり前に起こる目の前のことだけに、心の声と向き合い手を動かす。そこに形として現れたものはこの世界に存在した一人の木工家としての証でもあるのだろう。

小倉さんの家の近くの公園に立っていた楠の枝から生まれた碗です。
この作品一つから総体としての枝、この楠を始めとする草木が寄り集まってできる自然風景、またはより大きなものを想像していただければと思います。

小倉さんは普段黒漆を使われますが、こちらの作品は少し明るい色の漆を拭いて仕上げられています。
作品からはほんのり楠の香りします。
